IBM Security has announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Agile 3 Solutions. The company now joins the enterprise security business at International Business Machines Corporation.
The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
However, IBM Security had previously made public the fact that it had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Agile 3 Solutions.
The company is known for its intuitive data risk control center that helps enterprise customers uncover, analyze, and visualize data-related business risks. Business leaders are provided with a comprehensive, and friendly dashboard, which they can use to take action to proactively protect their organizations.
Agile 3 Solutions will now be help IBM build on the growth of its end-to-end Guardium data security and protection platform, which helps to analyze the risk associated with sensitive data, as well as monitor and protect sensitive data at rest, and in motion.
The software is used by the C-Suite and senior executives to better visualize, understand and manage risks associated with the protection of sensitive data.
This acquisition marks the 20th security related company that IBM has acquired as part of its series of investments to deepen its expertise as one of the world’s largest enterprise security companies.
